What Are the Top Rejection Reasons for IBPS Photo and Signature?
IBPS enforces strict automated and manual validation rules: - Capital Letter Signatures: Annexure III explicitly states 'Signature (NOT IN CAPITAL LETTERS)'—block letter signatures are rejected. - Declaration in Capital Letters: Writing the hand-written declaration in all capital letters makes the application invalid. - Incorrect Ink Color: The applicant must sign and write the declaration using a black ink pen only. Blue ink is permitted solely for the thumb impression. - Uploading in Wrong Slot: Uploading signature in the photo slot or declaration in the thumb slot leads to disqualification.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a blue ink pen for the IBPS signature?

The text must be: 'I, [Name of candidate], hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.'
Are capital letters permitted in IBPS signatures?
No. Official IBPS guidelines explicitly state: 'Signature (NOT IN CAPITAL LETTERS) uploaded should be of appropriate size and clearly visible.'
